Mission Statement

Our Mission

MarketInvoice exists to help ambitious UK businesses take back control of their finances, on their own terms. MarketInvoice solves three problems at the same time: large corporates extending their payment terms to small suppliers, a difficult lending environment given the retrenchment of the major banks, and private investors looking for alternative investment opportunities in a low interest environment.

MarketInvoice serves to channel non-bank capital to SMEs to fund working capital: but unlike existing sources of commercial finance, it’s flexible, there are no “belt-and-braces” security arrangements, no monthly fees, and small business owners are given complete control. This is fundamentally different to anything that exists in the UK. MarketInvoice uses cutting edge technology to bring together investors and sellers to revolutionise commercial finance, allowing dynamic companies to scale operations while reducing their cost of capital.

Management who understand the needs of businesses and investors

The founders and executive management team at MarketInvoice have previously worked in investment management, investment banking, and on the boards of SMEs in finance, operations, and general management roles. They have successfully launched dotcom start-ups as well as helped finance and grow early stage businesses, right through to AIM listing. Collectively they have witnessed first hand the issues experienced by small businesses throughout the country, and have established a strong network of contacts within the UK business community including accountancy firms, legal practices, and trade organisations.

Backed and funded by successful entrepreneurs

MarketInvoice is financially backed by a group of successful and experienced investment professionals and entrepreneurs. Based in London and across Europe, they bring a strong track record in backing outstanding businesses. Their contacts and knowledge, as well as their funding, are valuable resources available to MarketInvoice.
